Additional Info

Warping Instructions:

Good yarns to use include 5/2 Perle Cotton, 3/2 Perle Cotton, 5/2 Rayon, wool or any other yarns that are strong (we will be pulling and twisting the yarns).

Have enough yarn on hand to weave at least a yard of fabric. Any color is fine but the yarn should be a solid color (not variegated).

Sett should be determined by the yarn manufacturer for plain weave. Contact Jennie if you are not sure.

The weave is based on plain weave, so those with multi-shaft looms should choose a pattern that will weave plain weave (either 1-2-3-4 or 1-2 is most common).

The warp should be at least 2 yards long and 8 inches wide, but may be wider and/or longer.
