Have you always wanted to learn to weave but were afraid to try? Does the thought of warping a loom leave you weak at the knees? Is your loom sitting empty because you don’t know where to start? Did you get a new loom and want to learn to put on a warp?

This workshop is designed for the beginning weaver or for those who would like a review.  In this two-day class you will learn the basics of warping a multi-harness (4 or 8 shaft) loom and have a chance to warp a loom under the guidance of an experienced weaver. Once your loom is warped, you will be guided through starting your project and get some ideas for weaves you can do with your threading pattern.

This is an online class that will be held via Zoom. In addition to a 4 or 8-shaft loom, students will need an electronic device such as a computer, tablet or phone with the Zoom app installed. Classes are limited to 8 students so that we can work closely together as you warp your loom and start your project.

 Workshop fee includes an individual planning meeting with the instructor prior to the class, and two days of instruction. The individual meeting is designed to help you plan your project and know what materials you will need for class.

**Please note - this class is not designed for rigid heddle looms. While some of the techniques taught could be applied, the class teaches warping techniques for 4 and 8 shaft looms.
